Design Bureau "Automobile company "Bogdan motors" has completed the development of a new model of electric bus, and work is already underway on making pre-production sample. As told at the enterprise, the new buses "Bogdan" in the next 2020 will be mass-produced at the facilities of the plant in Lutsk.
a New "Bogdan" has 12 foot body, made of stainless steel and will have absolutely low level of the floor. The bus is intended for transportation of passengers on city routes. The Seating capacity will be not less than 80 passengers.
According to the developers, the characteristics of the bus depend on the configuration: mileage per battery charge of 200 km., total engine power of 260 kW, maximum speed more than 70 km/h.

the Appearance in the model range "Bogdan" electric bus opens the company's promising market of the European Union. However, the Corporation noted the importance of developing this type of transport in Ukraine.
Final price of a new electric bus will be determined at the beginning of the new year before the start of mass production. According to the developers, the price of buses will be lower than the European counterparts at a higher level of quality.
Recall, the Corporation already has experience in the production of environmental public transport: electric buses "Bogdan А70100" was made in cooperation with Polish firms "Ursus" and "Enika". Now he successfully operated on the routes to Lublin.
Besides, "Bogdan" produces a 12-meter body of the buses for the French company Bluebus, which is 2019 was awarded a new contract for the supply of products. And in November last year, "Bogdan", presented the first Ukrainian all-electric truck, made for the Danish company BankeElectromotive.
