The factory is the main manufacturer of the product in Ukraine.
Increase in release of bitumen is related to the increased profitability of sales of such product on the domestic market.
Import bitumen in the country in January — November, in contrast, declined markedly on 106,8 thousand tons, to 418,2 thousand tons, according to customs statistics. The main supplier of products to the Ukrainian market remained Belarus, although shipments from this country decreased by 42,3 thousand tons to 321,6 thousand tons.
Earlier it was reported that the government of Ukraine adopted a resolution according to which for the replacement of the Russian bitumen in road construction predlagaetsja use of metallurgical slags and other waste products.
