On April 3, 2020, an accident occurred in the converter shop of Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works, as a result of which a 33-year-old master was fatally injured. This was reported in the press service DMK.
The incident is currently being investigated.

Public Joint Stock Company "Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant" is one of the largest enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine, specializing in the production of cast iron, steel, rolled products. The company was founded in 1889. The plant employs about 9,000 people.
