the President of DCH group Alexander Yaroslavsky addressed with open letter to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Prime Minister Denis Shmyhalou in which he asked the authorities "to resolve the situation at once the most powerful of the Kharkov plant "Electrotyazhmash". According to the businessman, the plant was on the verge of stopping and may repeat the fate of the Kharkiv aviation plant, which "is actually no more".
Yaroslavsky believes that the main problem was the unprofessional management of the company and stated that the situation can be corrected "only by the arrival of a responsible private investor." According to him, the plant may go bankrupt this year and up to privatization auction in early 2021 "will not survive".
Recall that this week, the main customer "Electrotyazhmash" state company "Ukrhydroenergo" savilathat has no debt to the Kharkiv plant, but in this enterprise there are shortcomings in the preparation of documentation in accordance with requirements of the international contracts which leads to an increase of the term of consideration of payment documents from the European Bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD), European investment Bank (EIB) and independent international consultants "EDF" and "Mott MacDonald".
In Ukrhydroenergo reported that on today of SOE "Plant "Electrotyazhmash" there are delays in the supply of equipment for more than 3 month that "it is unacceptable and will lead to negative consequences."
