Zaporizhstal will provide an opportunity for students and pupils of Zaporizhzhya higher and secondary specialized institutions to master their future profession in real production conditions. In 2020, 400 students will undergo practical training at the plant, accompanied by mentors - experienced employees of the enterprise.
More than 250 trainees in accordance with the program undergo paid internships, many of them return to the enterprise for employment in their first job. In 2020, Zaporizhstal will employ about 100 young specialists. This year, Zaporizhstal will also employ about 200 employees under the age of 30.
The company has a special internship and adaptation program for young specialists in production conditions, a system for retaining experienced mentors.
Within the framework of Metinvest's program for attracting, hiring and retaining young people at the Company's enterprises, Zaporizhstal operates motivational projects for both young employees and students and students of specialized specialties. In 2020, about 800 best students of Zaporozhye will be awarded with Metinvest scholarships. The total scholarship fund will be up to UAH 6 million per year.
