In October 2020, at the Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant of the Dutch mining and metallurgical holding Metinvest B.V. 399.0 thousand tons of pig iron were smelted, which is 1.1% more than in October 2019. October steel production amounted to 327.0 thousand tons, which is 6.3% less than in October 2019, the production of finished rolled steel decreased by 7.9% to 270.7 thousand tons.
From January to October 2020, Zaporizhstal produced 3 million 685.4 thousand tons of pig iron (+ 2.0% over the same period last year (APPG)), 3 million 109.0 thousand tons of steel (- 8.0% to the APPG) and produced 2 million 634.3 thousand tons of rolled products (-7% to the APPG).
