Today, the process of negotiations between Ukraine and the EU on "industrial visa-free" is taking place in three sectors of industrial products, namely low-voltage electrical equipment, electromagnetic compatibility of equipment and machines. But immediately after successful recognition from the EU regarding the first three sectors, the good practice will be extended to all other industries. The Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Igor Petrashko spoke about this.
“Preparing to sign an industrial visa-free visa is a complex and complex approach. Involvement of 10 central executive authorities in negotiations are coordinated by the Ministry of Economy. Our task is for the appraisal mission to leave with the understanding that our system is correctly regulated, that we have the equipment and the possibility of appraisal, our bodies comply with the EU appraisal system, "Petrashko commented.
According to him, products manufactured in Ukraine, if they enter the EU market, need to be re-certified, but with an "industrial visa-free" everything will be much easier. Ukrainian manufacturers and exporters will be able to mark their products with the European Conformity Mark (CE) and freely sell them on the EU market without additional certification.
“Industrial visa-free travel is a very ambitious goal. This is a process that could have begun 15 years ago. But finally he received really powerful results and predictable prospects, ”the minister added.
