The largest metallurgical enterprise of Ukraine PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" presented new overalls for the workers of the enterprise on the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
“The supplier was selected jointly with the trade unions. The choice was approached carefully. First of all, they paid attention to the fact that the protective uniform was comfortable and easy in everyday use, "- said the press service of the enterprise.
Already in the summer, the employees of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih" will be able to personally assess the quality of the new workwear. In the meantime, Olga Kudashova, vice-miss of the SteelLady-2021 contest, tried it on.
“Our people work with hot metal together with huge industrial units that require maximum attention. This collaboration between humans and machines creates a personal work environment where trust in each other is key, in particular for the sake of operational safety, ”said Mauro Longobardi, CEO of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.
According to the press service, the new fabric has improved protective properties:
- good oil and moisture repellent
- resistant to breaking loads,
- has increased hygroscopicity and breathability,
- reflective stripes resistant to abrasion and washing.
Previously it was reported that ArcelorMittal was recognized as the most attractive employer in the mining and metallurgical industry in Ukraine according to the results of an independent study by Randstad Employer Brand Research.
