Among the priorities of PJSC "Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant" (DMK) are the environmental modernization of production, the implementation of environmental measures of the city environmental program and the "Dnipropetrovsk regional comprehensive program (strategy) of environmental safety and climate change prevention for 2016-2025", reducing emissions pollutants into the air and other negative impacts on the environment. This was reported by the press service of the plant.
They noted that in the first quarter of 2021, UAH 37,982,000 was spent on the implementation of the activities of the regional environmental program.
“Gross emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere for the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 19,400 tons. Compared to the same period last year, the amount of emissions decreased by 18.83%, in absolute terms - by 4500 tons, "- said Yuri Bayrak, head of the environmental protection service of the DMK.
Dnipro Metallurgical Plant is one of the largest enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine with a 132-year history of outstanding achievements. PJSC "DMK" is one of the six leading metallurgical plants in the country in terms of production and sales of metal products. The plant is located in Kamenskoe, Ukraine.
