The US Embassy in Kiev congratulated the State Automobile Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) on signing a memorandum with the American company Bechtel Overseas Corporation on the Kiev bypass road construction project.

“Congratulations to Ukravtodor and the American company Bechtel on the signing of a memorandum on the construction of the Kiev bypass road! Investments in infrastructure are key for economic growth and will help Ukraine become a more successful, democratic and secure country, ”the embassy wrote on the official Twitter.
Kiev bypass road is a megaproject of Ukravtodor, providing for the construction of a half-ring with a total length of about 150 km. It will help to bring transit traffic flows of vehicles outside Kiev and will connect the key highways M-07 Kiev - Kovel, M-06 Kiev - Chop, M-05 Kiev - Odessa and N-01 Kiev - Znamenka.
"Kiev bypass road is one of the key objects of the presidential program" Big Construction ", because its construction will solve the painful transport problems of the capital and improve international road traffic.
