In May 2021, Zaporizhstal produced 332.1 thousand tons of pig iron, which is 15.2% less than in May 2020; 327.6 thousand tons of steel were smelted, which is 1.7% more than in May last year and 280.4 thousand tons of finished steel products were produced, which is 4% more than in May 2020.
The decline in pig iron production in May 2021 compared to the same period last year (APPG) is due to the shutdown for overhaul of blast furnace No. 4 - it was stopped on May 11, 2021.
From January to May 2021, 1,844.0 thousand tons of pig iron (+ 2.7% to the APPG), 1,658.5 thousand tons of steel (+ 10.1%), 1,407.0 thousand tons were produced. tons of rolled products (+ 9.2%).
