Ukraine's leading producer of electricity from renewable sources, the state-owned company Ukrhydroenergo, ranked fourth in the ranking of the most profitable companies in the public sector of the economy in the first quarter of 2021.
The company secured an honorable place in the top five, demonstrating a quarterly profit of 2.2 billion hryvnia.
Ukrhydroenergo has occupied key positions in the ratings of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine for many years in a row. In addition, the company provided the largest amount of revenue to the state budget from dividend payments in the energy industry, transferring UAH 1.2 billion to the treasury at the end of 2020, becoming the absolute leader in the region in terms of the amount of payments.
The analysis of Ukrhydroenergo's activities in recent years testifies to the stable and reliable work of the state company, which is constantly developing, investing in the reconstruction of existing facilities, construction of new generating and storage capacities.
It should be emphasized that the company's profitable activity over the past 10 years has been demonstrating high performance, confirming its stable financial condition and positive development dynamics.
