On August 14, the non-self-propelled vessel NBL-003, together with the tugboat Nodari Chanturia, will embark on the fifth anniversary voyage with a cargo of watermelons for the capital of Ukraine, and on August 20, the Kherson striped cargo will arrive at the transshipment terminal of JV NIBULON LLC in Pereyaslav. From there, sweet berries will go straight to the trading floors of the capital's supermarkets of the Silpo trade network of the Fozzy Group.
Transportation of Kherson berries has already become a good tradition for the company and a long-awaited event for the residents of the capital. For the fifth year in a row, delicious Kherson watermelons are sent to Kiev directly by the "Nibulon" fleet. And the tradition begins in 2017, when the company joined the pilot project of the US Agency for International Assistance USAID "Creating an effective logistics supply chain for fruit and vegetable products." Then, for the first time in the past 15 years, a non-self-propelled vessel with 300 tons of sweet berries sailed from the pier in Golaya Pristan. This event literally blew up the information space and became the top news of news agencies and social networks, and “watermelons from a barge” in supermarkets were just snapped up. All subsequent shipments of melons and gourds were no less large-scale.
LLC JV "Nibulon" was established in 1991. It is one of the largest operators in the grain market of Ukraine. It has 27 transshipment terminals and complexes for the reception, storage and shipment of grain and oilseeds (388 silos of the silo type), a fleet of up to 72 units. and Nikolaev shipyard.
