Subsidiary of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya in August 2021 reduced natural gas production by 5% compared to the same period last year to 9.08 billion cubic meters.
As noted in the press service of the mining company, the lag in natural gas production compared to January-July decreased by 0.2 percentage points.
Gas sales for 8 months of 2021 also decreased by 5% to 8.58 billion cubic meters.
In August of this year, Ukrgasvydobuvannya ensured the production of 1.152 billion cubic meters (minus 5%, compared to the same period last year) and gas supplies with a volume of 1.094 m 3 (minus 4%).
To stabilize production indicators during eight months of 2021, Ukrgasvydobuvannya put into operation 29 new wells; carried out 168 well workovers; performed 392 coiled tubing operations, 78 hydraulic fracturing operations; conducted 9 sidetracking operations; built and connected almost 80 km of gas pipelines.
Also, 1658 geophysical surveys and other works in wells were carried out, which is 15% more than the plan.
JSC "Ukrgasvydobuvannya" is the largest gas company in Central and Eastern Europe. In Ukraine, it is a major player, producing 73% of natural gas and specializing in the production of gas condensate.
