Today, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine posted a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on a temporary ban on the export of scrap metal for public discussion, which became a reason for indignation in the non-profit association UAVtormet, which represents the interests of procurers and exporters of scrap metal.

“The explanatory note and the analysis of the regulatory impact contain manipulative and dubious information and statements, and the position of our association representing the scrap collection industry is ignored and not taken into account. In such conditions, we reserve the right to appeal to anti-corruption and judicial authorities, to involve international institutions and other legal actions to protect the interests of the industry, "says statement merge.

As a reminder, draft regulation , proposed by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, introduces a ban until December 31, 2022 on the export of scrap ferrous metals (scrap metal) outside the customs territory of Ukraine in the customs regime, which is classified according to the code according to UKT VED 7204.
