TMK named the winners of a corporate scholarship at Ural Federal University

Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) presented certificates to students of Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.

The scholarship in the amount of 15 thousand rubles per month, established in 2024, is awarded for one academic year. 200 students of the Institute of New Materials and Technologies (INMT) receive support UrFU, demonstrating academic success. In addition to the monthly payment, scholarship holders are provided with additional opportunities for professional development.: participation in corporate events of the company, educational programs, as well as internships and hybrid internships at TMK enterprises. The internship project is implemented by TMK2U Corporate University in a mixed format — both face—to-face and online - and allows students to get acquainted with the main areas of the company's activities, production processes and professional growth prospects at TMK.

As part of the certificate presentation ceremony, a panel discussion was also held with the participation of representatives of Pervouralsky Novotrubny (PNTZ) and Seversk Pipe (STZ) plants and TMK2U Corporate University, who told their success stories in the company and answered students' questions.

"We have been cooperating fruitfully with Ural Federal University for a long time. The TMK scholarship is another important stage of our joint work on the formation of highly qualified personnel for the metallurgical industry. I am sure that this support will motivate the students to achieve new academic and scientific achievements and will become an important factor for their professional development and future careers," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Director of TMK2U Corporate University.

"The University considers the partnership with TMK as a strategic collaboration aimed at training engineering personnel and conducting applied research. One of the key results of the cooperation was the establishment of corporate scholarships for students who show high results in mastering engineering disciplines. It is not only a tool to support talented youth, but also a conscious investment in the technological development of the Ural and Russian industries. Other formats of interaction with TMK are equally important, first of all, students' access to modern production sites and technological processes within the framework of internships and internships," said Ilya Obabkov, Acting Rector of UrFU.

TMK participates in the formation of a number of UrFU educational programs, career guidance, including the organization of internships for university students.
