The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) has launched a new industrial tourism route at the Sinarsky Pipe Plant (SinTZ), a branch of the company in Kamensk-Uralsky. The program includes visits to an existing production facility, a training center with interactive digital simulators, and Russia's largest steel pipe exhibition. The route is available for tour groups from the Sverdlovsk region and other regions of Russia.
The industrial route "Sinarsky Pipe Plant: a fusion of traditions and innovations" was created with the support of the Department for the Development of Tourism and the Hospitality Industry of the Sverdlovsk region. It was first presented to a wide audience at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2026. The route combines the museum exposition and the existing production, allowing you to present the different stages of the enterprise.
The three-hour program begins with a visit to the museum of the company's history, then continues in the T-3 and T-4 workshops, where guests are shown modern technologies for manufacturing steel pipes and couplings. The route ends at the training center, where tourists can practice on interactive production simulators, get acquainted with the latest developments in the field of pipe solutions, as well as visit the only pipe museum in Russia, which features more than 160 exhibits and reflects the evolution of pipe production from antiquity to the present day.

It is important for us to open the company's enterprises to a wide audience, to acquaint visitors with their history, modern technologies and environmental initiatives. Of particular importance is that the new route is being launched in the year of TMK's 25th anniversary. With its launch, industrial tourism programs cover all the company's enterprises in the Sverdlovsk Region, a region that is one of the recognized leaders in this field in Russia," said Anna Trepalova, Head of TMK's industrial tourism department.
TMK is actively developing industrial tourism at its enterprises. In February 2025, the company opened the first sightseeing route for tourists "Metallurgy through the ages: from the iron hammer to the digital plant" at the Seversky Pipe Plant (STZ). In August of the same year, the company launched the industrial route "The Pipe is calling!" at the Pervouralsky novotrubny plant (PNTZ). In total, a record number of tourists visited the company's sites in 2025 — more than 55 thousand people.
