As part of the implementation of the project for the implementation of an automated system for technical metering of energy resources (ASTUE) at Uchalinsky GOK (an enterprise of the UMMC raw materials complex), metering units for mine and waste waters were installed and put into operation at Uchalinskaya and Mezhozernaya industrial sites.
The metering chambers are equipped with flow meters inserted into a special computer program, in which data on the consumption of all resources at the enterprise are automatically accumulated. This system allows the specialists of the plant to simultaneously conduct online monitoring and analysis of flow rates.
“Previously, we made a record of incoming water according to the operating time of pumping equipment - the volumes were calculated per shift based on the pump performance. Now the data on how many cubic meters of water is supplied to us every hour can be viewed at any time on the computer screen, ”explained Anatoly Gushchin, head of the neutralization station at the Uzelginskaya industrial site.
Automatic metering of mine and bottom dump water has an additional positive effect in the form of prompt detection of leaks - a sudden decrease in volume signals the specialists to check the pipeline for damage. In addition, hourly accurate data on the volume of water supplied to the station will make it possible to efficiently use the materials necessary for the technological process.
“The system has made it possible to switch from manual collection of indicators to automatic, it records the operating parameters of any installation, based on the data received, daily reports are drawn up on the consumption of all resources. Such control will help to reduce resource costs, "- said the specialist of the Chief Power Engineer Department Aleksey Semenov.
In total, about 80 flow meters have already been installed in the workshops of the Uchalinsky GOK within the framework of ASTUE. , water disposal, use of technical (industrial) water, production and consumption of compressed air.
