Before understanding the design and structure of the compressor device, it is necessary to understand that the compressor unit is the main element of a home refrigerator, due to which freon moves. In the current modifications of the compressor, the inverter control of the device, which is why the duration of use of the equipment motor is increased.
To improve the performance of the compressor unit, a special part is used, namely a start-up relay, the operation of which protects the compressor unit from overheating. Its priority is the activating moment of the starting winding. There is no synchronization of operation in the device, because the metal parts inside overheat over time, and the relay turns off the equipment so that there is no overheating.
Refrigerators for one and two chambers
Outside, two-chamber units differ little in terms of devices with one chamber. Two-chamber modifications, which were produced not so long ago, have one evaporator for both chambers. During the freezing period, it will be possible to mechanically touch the evaporator, and all equipment will break. In the updated improved two-chamber refrigerators, there are two sections where the evaporator is mounted. The cameras are not connected to each other. Typically, these freezers have the freezer at the bottom and the main refrigerator at the top.
Despite the prevalence of models with one engine, two compressor devices are also quite well known. The only difference is that the compressor itself is fixed behind each chamber. At home, it is two-chamber refrigerators that are more common, their design makes it possible to disconnect one compressor device in a situation if it is not needed in operation. In this case, the operation of one of the cameras stops, but the equipment is not harmed.
Typology of compressor devices
It is recommended to look at absorption refrigerators, which evaporate their own functional mixture. Usually ammonia is used to function. The refrigerant moves through its dissolution in the water space. Then the resulting compound is sent to the system and is separated into two parts of the original composition. The cycle is repeated anew, barely used ammonia becomes a liquid after penetrating the condenser. At home, such units are not used due to the toxicity of ammonia.
