As of the end of 2020, over 200 Chinese enterprises have invested $ 1.11 billion in the agriculture sector in 35 African countries, according to a White Paper published by the PRC State Council Press Office on Friday.
The investments of these enterprises cover such areas as sowing, growing and processing of agricultural products. More than 350 types of African agricultural products and food products are included in the list of goods exported to China. All this ensures a steady growth in agricultural trade between China and Africa.
