In the rolling shop No. 1 of the Dneprovsky metallurgical plant (DMZ, Dnipro) of the Kharkov businessman Alexander Yaroslavsky, the overhaul of the heating well No. 8 of the recuperative group (RK) has been completed.
In 2.5 months, ceramic recuperators, the refractory part of the working space: the hearth, recuperator vaults, as well as part of the metal structures have been completely replaced in the well. Investments amounted to more than 2 million hryvnia.
Overhaul of RK No. 8 is the second one of its kind at the section of heating wells of the rolling shop No. 1 this year. In the spring, for one and a half million hryvnias, recuperative well No. 6 was overhauled: ceramic recuperators were replaced, new dinasoquartzite blocks were installed, refractory masonry was renewed.
Next year, it is planned to carry out overhauls of recuperative wells No. 2 and No. 4.
