In February, Ukrainian Energy Machines shipped a backup anchor and spare parts for a DC electric motor for the Zaporozhye Iron Ore Plant.
The company overhauled the standby DC motor armature PBK380/125-4.1 UHL4, which is used for the mine ore hoist.
A set of repairs was carried out on the reserve anchor: restoration of the body and armature shaft, manufacture and replacement of the collector, replacement of the armature winding, manufacture of new bearings.
The specialists of the enterprise will also carry out supervised installation of the anchor and commissioning.
The company became the winner in the competition with five companies, offering the customer to modernize the anchor with an increase in engine power by 20% on the old foundation. In turn, competing firms came up with a proposal to completely replace the anchor and install it on a new foundation.
Currently, Ukrenergomashyny is negotiating with the Zaporozhye Iron Ore Plant to conclude a new contract for the modernization of equipment.
