For the last 2.5 years under 130 verified energy service contracts (ESCO) savings of 3 million cubic meters of gas, or 40 million UAH on payment of energy resources in budgetary institutions. This was stated by the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk, speaking November 14 at the Ukrainian crisis media center at the press conference devoted to development of energy services in the country and the verification results of the first ESCO-contracts in the public sector.
"as soon As in 2015 we have introduced all necessary legislative base, the Saee began to actively promote the ESCO market services. Today this area is thermo-earned and began to rapidly gain momentum", - said S. Savchuk.
According to the press service of Saee of Ukraine, for the last 2 years the number of ESCO-contracts increased 18 times from 20 contracts at $ 18 million in 2016 to more than 370 contracts totaling 520 million in 2019.

to test the effectiveness of ESCO-mechanism of the Saee, in conjunction with the United Nations development Programme (UNDP) evaluated 130 agreements already provide energy savings for at least one heating season.
"the results of the verification 130 ESCO-contracts in 17 towns exceeded expectations: energy savings is an average of about 35% Is 1.8 times more than the scheduled contracts", - said Serhiy Savchuk.
