In June, for the first time in the history of the port, short sea transportation from the Azov sea to the Black sea began to deliver General cargo and metallurgical plants - slabs. "02.06.2020 in the port of Odessa was sent the first batch of slabs from the ship "TAILWIND". Thus, for part of its cargo, the cargo owner continues to change the logistics, instead of using Railways short-sea shipping. In connection with necessity of increase in volumes of transportation, the cargo owner, the decision was taken to attract additional ship, and now, for the third shipload of slabs this month is loaded on the ship "SAKAR", - stated in the message port.
