During November 5-6, an interdepartmental commission worked at PJSC "Kryukovsky Carriage Works" (KVSZ), which carried out acceptance tests of platform cars of models 13-7138 and 13-7138-01. The commission decided to accept the test results of a prototype of a flat car model 13-7138, drawn up by the appropriate protocols.
The final decision of the commission, which included leading specialists and managers of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", the regional branch of the "Southern Railway", the test center of the Dnieper National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan, PJSC "Kryukov Carriage Works", allows the company, if there are orders, to start serial production of 60-foot platforms models 13-7138 and 13-7138-01. They are designed for the transportation of large-capacity containers and wheeled vehicles that do not require protection from atmospheric precipitation.
The next step in the implementation of this project is the preparation of materials based on the results of the work performed on platform cars of models 13-7138 and 13-7138-01 for consideration at the next meeting of the expert group of the Commission of the carriage economy in December this year. This commission should study the materials provided and decide on the inclusion of flat car models 13-7138 and 13-7138-01 in the directory "Models of freight cars" with the right to follow in the message.
