PJSC "Zaporozhtransformator" (ZTR) has received an order for the supply of 2 shunt reactors of the RTM-50000/275-T1 type to Malaysia for Kuala Kangsar s /s and Tapah s /s for the Customer - Tenaga Nasional Berhad (the largest in South -East Asia state-owned company in charge of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity in Malaysia). Overall, this order will be the fourth delivery of the plant's products to the Malaysian market.
Development and receipt of the order lasted over a year. ZTR participated in the tender along with Chinese and Indian suppliers of similar equipment (Chinese company TBEA and Crompton Greaves (India)), but the best price offer and the fact that ZTR PJSC has extensive experience in supplying such complex equipment to the Malaysian market became decisive when choosing a Supplier.
As noted by the sales manager of the sales department Elena Sidorenko:

An important fact of placing a new order exactly at our enterprise was the positive experience of previous cooperation, strict fulfillment of contractual obligations by the plant and high quality of products ".
A feature of this project is the control by the customer of the main points of production. In addition, it is a mandatory requirement to conduct a design review and acceptance tests in the presence of the Customer's inspector.
To date, the design documentation for this project has been practically developed and submitted for approval to the Customer and is currently undergoing a design review.
According to the terms of the contract, the shipment is planned in 2021, the commissioning of equipment at the facility - in the 1-2 quarter of 2022. As part of the execution of the contract, it is planned to supervise the installation and commissioning of equipment at the facility by representatives of ZTR PJSC.
