On September 14, under the chairmanship of Deputy Energy Minister Yulia Pidkomornaya, the second meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the development of Ukraine's hydrogen strategy took place.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, State Energy Efficiency, the Ukrainian GTS Operator, the State Water Agency, industry associations and experts.
During the meeting, issues of available water resources for the production of hydrogen by electrolysis, the prospects for the possible construction of new product pipelines between Europe and Ukraine for the transportation of hydrogen or ways to modernize the existing infrastructure of the GTS were discussed.
Yulia Pidkomornaya noted the progress in the work of the group, which gives confidence in the preparation of a high-quality hydrogen strategy.
“Building a new industry is difficult. We need to carry out a long and systematic work, but we are on the right track. I am convinced that step by step we will create an effective document for the development of Ukraine's hydrogen energy ", - concluded the Deputy Minister of Energy.
