Sheet thickness

Cold-rolled sheet products. It is made by rolling from ductile steel alloys. The scope of application of these products is not so extensive, the thickness of the product is not more than 12 mm. The main characteristics are: strength, minimum resistance, stretch. It is widely used in the automotive industry, corrugated board and other products are made from it.
Corrugated, galvanized sheet metal and corrugated sheets can be distinguished separately.
Corrugated sheets
They have a surface stamped most often in the form of rhombuses on both sides or only on one side. Available in rolls. Used to increase friction as a floor covering, as well as in the form of cladding and ventilation panels.
Galvanized sheet
This is a type of cold-rolled steel with a thick zinc layer applied to protect it from corrosion. The main features are:

- long service life;
- relatively low price.
Such sheets are in demand in construction (building cladding, roof installation), medicine, food industry.
Corrugated rolls
Produced are manufactured by cold-rolled method in the form of a wave. They are used in construction for roofing works, wall cladding, in the form of fences, as a component of sandwich panels.
When choosing the right sheet, you need to decide on the scope. In terms of quality, galvanized sheet of cold-rolled steel wins. The hot-rolled sheet is not so even with variations in thickness, it has dross. At the same time, its cost is much lower, if the disadvantages do not affect the result of application, this type of rolled product can be safely used.
