Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will create a joint investment fund with an authorized capital of US $ 50 million, said during the first Uzbek-Tajik interregional investment forum in the city of Bokhtar. This was announced on Thursday by the news program "Uzbekistan-24 ".
The main purpose of the foundation is to support and promote the implementation of promising joint projects in various sectors of the economy.
The Forum was held on the eve of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan, following which agreements on cooperation were signed between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan for a total of $ 730 million.
