In 2020, Metinvest spent $ 67.4 million to modernize the production of the Ingulets mining and processing plant.
For these funds, we purchased new machinery and equipment for InGOK, carried out major repairs. This year, the company launched a large-scale project to replace the pumping station of the Ore Processing Plant No. 1. We have already installed 40 new units, and the same number will be replaced in 2021.
Two Epiroc drilling rigs were added to the mining fleet. The new installations are more productive than their domestic counterparts. For example, a 15-meter well Epiroc is drilled in 70 minutes, while SBSh-250 will take two hours.
Manufacturers also took care of the driver's comfort. Vibration and noise levels in the cab are reduced. Workplace with a wide viewing angle, heat-insulated, with air conditioning and an automatic fire extinguishing system. Information about the parameters of the drilling rig is displayed on the multifunctional display, and the equipment is controlled using a convenient joystick. Special halogen lamps are installed to work in low light and at night.
Another modern novelty is EKG-12K. The excavator is already successfully operating in the quarry together with multi-ton dump trucks and rail transport. The car has high-precision control, a comfortable and convenient driver's cabin. The maneuverability of the turntable allows you to quickly load dump trucks on the left and right.
All new equipment purchased this year has not only good technical characteristics, but also significantly improves the working conditions of specialists. All cars are equipped with comfortable workplaces with climate control systems, orthopedic chairs and digital dashboards that allow you to quickly respond to malfunctions, which means they make work safer.
A few more projects of modernization of InGOK this year - replacement of a crusher, repair of processing equipment, conveyor transport.
