Total consumption of steel long products in the first quarter of 2020 compared with the first quarter of 2010 decreased by 12%. About it announced on his Facebook page of the Department of marketing and sales of the largest Ukrainian producer of long rolled products of PJSC "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih".
"At that time, consumption of rebar in the first quarter of 2020, the percentage increased by 7%, consumption of wire rod decreased by 1%, the consumption of structural shapes has decreased by 6%. The construction sector is a major consumer of our products, the share of consumption of rolled steel for construction purposes to the domestic market in the first quarter of 2020 increased by 12.3% compared to the first quarter of 2010", - stated in the message.
