On the Dnieper metallurgical plant in the sintering plant has started the capital repair of sinter machine No. 10. The main goal of the overhaul is to fix the problem of harmful environmental emissions in sinter production.
Sergey Vinnik, Deputy head of the sintering plant engineering:
"who conducted the work on dismantling of the main technological equipment of the sintering machine. Environmental component overhaul - modernization of the battery of the cyclone zone of sintering, which provides the purification of gases from dust - the main source of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. The AM-10 is installed new pollution control equipment, it is planned to increase the number of treatment elements from 540 to 810. Also in the process of overhaul will be a complex of works on replacement of the vacuum chambers and gas".
to implement Planned measures will allow to increase the turnaround time and increase the reliability of sintering machine No. 10.
Complete overhaul is planned for 45 days. The main work is performed by the Contracting organization LLC "Industrial Ukraine", also involved employees of LLC "Metinvest Promservis".
the Cost of the overhaul amounts to 110 million.
