Overhaul of the limestone supply line, which began at the Dnieper Metallurgical Plant (DMK), is designed for 60 days.
“Overhaul is difficult, we have divided it into three stages, during which the repairmen must perform a large amount of work. As a result, we will be able to improve the reliability of operation and increase the turnaround time of equipment, respectively, the volume of sinter production will also increase, ”commented Vladimir Dashko, Acting Deputy Head of the Sinter Shop.
In the course of the repair, the metal structures of the conveyors will be repaired with the replacement of drive and tension drums, gearboxes and drives for rotation of conveyors, the conveyor belt and the park of rollers will be replaced.
The path safety devices are subject to repair - switches, light and sound signaling equipment, as well as electric motors and cabling and wiring products.
The contractors LLC "Industrial Technologies of Ukraine" and LLC "RBO Ukraine" are involved in the work.
