the Largest steel company of South Korea POSCO became the first company in the country to offer a remote control system for working parents.

the Newly created system allows working parents at the same time to focus on your work and child care, thereby contributing to proper parenting and preventing interruptions in the career of employees.

As reported in the press service of the company, POSCO will accept applications from employees with children aged up to eight years for participation in the program and to apply this policy in full since July.

Staff applying to work in all day, will work in the same mode - from 8:00 to 17:00 - same as other employees and will receive the same salary.

System of remote work for half a day is a combined system, which includes "a system of reduced working time in the education of children" the government and POSCO "the flexible working time system". Employees can choose working time depending on the medium of education from the following options: from 8 to 12, from 10 to 15 and 13 to 17.

Employees POSCO with one child can use this system for up to two years. In the case of employees with two children the system can be used up to six years.

the Company hopes that the new system will help to relieve the anxiety of employees, concerned about the leave to care for a child for several reasons. POSCO plans to expand the telecommunications system for all companies of the group. The project is aimed at improving the quality of life of employees, as well as addressing the social problems of declining fertility in the country.
