Ukrzaliznytsia is actively working to increase cargo turnover and increase the share of its own wagons under loading, the press service of the state railway company said.
"These measures are a necessary component of ensuring an adequate amount of income for Ukrzaliznytsia, which will allow to reinvest the earned funds in the development of railway transport in the future," the message says.
As of today, a situation has arisen when, when Ukrzaliznytsia is loaded by 8-10% more than last year, the company has lost up to 19% of its share in the wagons under loading market. This factor is negative for society and does not guarantee adequate profit from the main activity.
At the same time, according to the management of Ukrzaliznytsia, the principle of operation of the branch of the Transport Logistics Center company needs to be revised, because today its work cannot be assessed as satisfactory. Therefore, Ukrzaliznytsia is making every effort to improve the work of the branch, considering, among other things, effective personnel changes.
Recall that Ukrzaliznytsia recorded an increase in the average daily share of the use of its own freight cars in transportation: if as of November 1, 2020, the percentage of the use was 18.1%, then as of November 16 it reached 24.4%. By the end of next year, the company plans to increase its market share in transportation in its own wagons to 35-40%.
