The Trade Union of Metallurgists and Miners of Ukraine (PMGU) initiates bilateral consultations with the participation of representatives of enterprises to increase the wages of workers of the mining and metallurgical complex (MMC).
PMGU is confident that the wage policy at the enterprises of the industry requires a significant revision in order to increase it on the basis of a fair consideration of the complexity and difficult working conditions of MMC employees, as well as high requirements for their qualifications.
The corresponding position was expressed by the Chairman of PMGU Alexander Ryabko in letter addressed to the chairman of the Federation of metallurgists of Ukraine Belenky S.L. and the management of Metinvest Holding LLC, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih OJSC, Interpipe Ukraine LLC, Poltava GOK CJSC, DE SI EYCH STEEL LLC, Privat Group.
ON recalled that the sectoral agreement between the trade unions and the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine provides for an annual increase in average wages by at least 18 percent.
