Yesterday, April 20, a delegation of the Embassy of Brazil in Ukraine visited the State Enterprise "Production Association" Yuzhny Machine-Building Plant "named after A. M. Makarov" (Yuzhmash). The delegation was headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Brazil to Ukraine, Mr. Norton de Andrade Mello Rapesta.
The Ambassador was accompanied by the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Brazil in Ukraine, Mr. Fabiano Joel Vollmann, and the Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Brazil in the city of Dnipro, Oleg Vasilenko.
According to the press service of Yuzhmash, the purpose of the visit was to discuss work plans and opportunities for future cooperation in the space industry.
During the meeting with the management of the enterprise, the guests were shown a film about the production capabilities of Yuzhmash, issues of possible joint Ukrainian-Brazilian projects were discussed.
Mr. Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for the conversation and assured the leadership of Yuzhmash to provide all possible support and assistance.
The distinguished guests also visited the workshop of the main assembly of launch vehicles, where they got acquainted with the production facilities of Yuzhmash and with samples of rocket and space technology.
