During idle time the miners will continue to receive an income tariff rates, with the preservation of employment. Only at the enterprises of DTEK Dobropolyeugol, the mine "Belozerskaya" and CCM Oktyabrskaya has about 8 thousand employees.

DTEK Energo said that repeatedly appealed to the system operator, NEC Ukrenergo with the requirement to stop the practice of forced stop of power units. However, despite the existence of contracts for the production of electricity, NEK Ukrenergo systematically reduces the electricity production in the TPP of DTEK Energy to one unit that threatens the stable operation of thermal power plants and significantly reduces the volume of consumed coal.

"In conditions of growing economic crisis caused by the pandemic coronavirus COVID 19, the fall in world financial markets and the collapse of commodity prices, with the objective of minimizing negative economic impacts of DTEK Energy takes extraordinary measures and suspend the coupon payment on Eurobonds and interest on Bank debt," reported the company.
