The final meeting of the board of directors of KAMAZ PTC was held in Naberezhnye Chelny under the chairmanship of the General Director of the State Corporation Rostec Sergey Chemezov. The members of the Board of Directors got acquainted with the implementation of the business plan of the group of organizations of KAMAZ PTC for ten months of 2020, and also discussed and approved the business plan for 2021.
The plans of the enterprise for the next year are to sell 37 thousand trucks, of which 32 thousand vehicles will go to the Russian market, the rest - for export. In 2021, investments are planned in the amount of more than 16.7 billion rubles, while 13 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of the model range, and more than 1 billion for R&D.
In the direction of sales development, the company has set a goal to increase the share of KAMAZ in the market to 51% due to the growth of sales of a new model range up to 11 thousand units (for comparison: in 2020 - 8.5 thousand units), while strengthening positions in the segments of truck tractors and special equipment. In addition, the automaker plans to bring to the market new models of the K5 generation: a 6x2 truck tractor, 6x4, 6x6 and 8x4 dump trucks - and continue the development of the NGV model range, including selling 1,000 KAMAZ-5490 gas-powered tractors using CNG and LNG.
“Despite the difficult situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, KAMAZ during this difficult period worked ahead of the indicators of the business plan,” said CEO of the company Sergey Kogogin, commenting on the results of activities in the outgoing year and plans for the next year. - I am sure that we will postpone this positive attitude, the gained pace of work to the next year. Consumers are waiting for our products, there are orders, and we will make every effort to fulfill the plans outlined in the business plan for 2021. ”
