Automobile assembly plant No. 1 of the Bogdan-Motors corporation began work on the manufacture of Bogdan T70117 trolleybuses for the city of Sumy. The first painted trolleybus body is now ready for completion.
On June 23, 2020, an agreement was signed between the car assembly plant and KP SGS Electroavtotrans for the supply of 19 units of Bogdan T70117 trolleybuses.
"Bogdan T70117" is a 12-meter low-floor trolleybus intended for urban use, with a total passenger capacity of 105 people, of which 34 are seats. The trolleybus is convenient to use for passengers of the priority category, since it is equipped with a special folding ramp, as well as a fastener for fixing the stroller in the cabin.
It should be noted that the trolleybus park of the city of Sumy now has 16 trolleybuses manufactured by the Lutsk automobile plant "Bogdan". In July 2019, an agreement was completed for the supply of 4 Bogdan T70117 trolleybuses for the city.
