Mills have long been the most popular product range of the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant. They are in high demand among miners, since they always provide the declared technological and operational indicators. Mills of the NKMZ brand are of high quality, reliable, they are equipped with modern control systems. These are state-of-the-art mills.
Over the past three years, the enterprise has shipped 106 mills with a total weight of 23,300 tons to its customers. Among them are ball mills with central loading and ball mills with unloading through a grate (the diameter of their drums is 2700-5500 mm); wet self-grinding mills and wet semi-autogenous grinding mills (drum diameter 7-9.5 m). Moreover, mills of all these types are equally in demand on the market. Among the new products mastered by NKMZ are drum pelletizers with a drum with a diameter of 4 m and a length of 11 m, related to processing equipment. They are used to make iron ore pellets.
The most popular among those shipped last year were ball mills with central discharge MShTs-5500x7500. Nine such mills were sent by NKMZ to Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant (Republic of Uzbekistan).
Yevgeny Vovnenko, head of the grinding and power equipment bureau of the department of the chief designer of mining and forging and pressing equipment at NKMZ, spoke about two new design mills that were produced last year.
“The first and largest of those previously manufactured at NKMZ is a wet semi-autogenous grinding mill MMPS-7750x6060,” says Evgeny Nikolaevich. - It also has the most powerful drive previously used for mills - 5750 kW. The design capacity of this mill is 600 t /h, but already today it gives 800 t /h, while the amount of electricity it consumes has not yet approached 80% of the design indicator. The miners are completely satisfied with her work. Now the specialists of our bureau are working on the project of the second such mill.
Another mill of a new design is a tappetless ball mill with a central discharge MShTs-3600x6000 BC. If mills of a traditional design, when installed on a foundation, are based on the trunnions of the end walls, then this trunnion is absent, and the end walls are integrated into the drum body and are its continuation. It is installed on the same foundations and rests directly on the drum body. Accordingly, such a mill is lengthened, has a 50% larger volume, and the volume of the material to be ground in it doubles. The miners are interested in purchasing tappetless mills with a larger drum. ”
The geography of supplies of Novokramatorsk mills is quite wide: Ukraine (North, South, Central, Ingulets, Poltava GOKs), Mongolia, Bulgaria, CIS countries. Already this year, eight mills of NKMZ were shipped to miners.
