In the press-forging shop No. 1 of PJSC Energomashspetsstal, the repair of a hydraulic press of an automated forging complex with a force of 6,000 ton-forces (AKK-6000 tf) has been completed. All work on the reconstruction of the press was carried out by specialists of PJSC "EMSS" and LLC "Ukrmegastroy".
During the repair, the old press control system was replaced with a modern system developed by the specialists of OGEN LLC "Ukrmegastroy" and the Automated Process Control System Department of PJSC "EMSS".
Chief Engineer of PJSC Energomashspetsstal Yuri Kasyanov noted that the introduction of a new modern control system will fundamentally improve the operation of the equipment, make the press control process better and more efficient, and, most importantly, will partially exclude human participation from the management process.
Today AKK-6000 ts is successfully passing acceptance tests. The total investment in the reconstruction of the press amounted to 2.5 million hryvnia.
According to Yuri Kasyanov, the new press control system is unique - it is based on programmable relays. “We have managed on our own to create a budget and high-quality version of the forging complex control system,” said the chief engineer.
