Thanks to the work done in recent months and work is now on the fifth furnace hoists-2 can be smelted more than 1300 tons of steel per day, that is 400 tons more than in 7 batches. The increasing rate of production will allow to increase volumes of produced steel and significantly reduce power consumption.
Recall, furnace №5 was launched in may this year after a major overhaul. In addition, ESPTS-2 has been updated, the roof of the shop above the furnace and casting bays, renovated common areas. These transformations, as well as the effective operation of all departments helped the factory "Red October" to regain its leading position: according to the experts of the Association "SpecStal" he came in first place in the production of stainless steel.
